How many readings?

We were advised by our venue that two is 'normal' as it lengthens the ceremony time to around half an hour

I only had two guest and a cold ceremony so we stuck with one but I think two would be nice.

We only get the option of one or none ☹️

Actually just realised we had two. I had a friend do a reading and the magistrate read us a poem at the end of the ceremony.

We are having 2 readings and we are saying some additional vows too. In our ceremony booklet there was the option of having 3 readings so I don't think anything is 'normal', just do what you think is right for you

We're having a church wedding but are having 2 readings form family members

We're going for two too. I want to make the ceremony as long as possible otherwise it feels like it's over in a flash.

Just to throw a different answer in there. We're not having any.

For us, the ceremony is a mere formality so we're happy for it to be as quick as as informal as possible.

First time around I had 2 readings. One by my best friend and CBM and one by the Registrar. My CBM messed hers up though which was funny at the time but really annoying in the video.
