    You'll need a recessional song ?

We're allowed to have music for when the guests are gathering too, about 15 minutes worth.

    The Ceremony

    1) Arrival of the Guests - It can be nice to have some music playing as your guests arrive. Usually, the guests will be allowed into the room after the registrars have finished speaking with the Groom and Best Man. Depending on the venue, you will need between 5-15 minutes of music...and it depends on the punctuality of the B2B!!

    2) Entrance of the Bride - You should think about how long it will take you to walk down the aisle. Perhaps you would like the music to start from the "famous bit" or the chorus. Some songs have long introductions and you may end up getting to the front of the room before your favourite part of the song starts.

    3) Signing of the Register - I would recommend having two songs for this. Choose one that you would definitely like played and have another on standby in case the photos take longer than expected.

    4) Departure of the Bridal Party - Something celebratory, upbeat, fun...whatever you want!!

For advice with choosing your ceremony music, you could check out: www.WeddingMusicTips.co.uk

    Evening Disco

All of these are technically optional, but you might like to choose the following:

    1) First Dance

    2) Second Dance / Third Dance - If you want to dance with your parents, or your have something special planned, or perhaps you know the songs that your family love and you want to give the DJ a helping hand ;-)

    3) Last Dance - it can be really nice to finish with a song that you really love as a focal point for the end of the wedding day.

    I hope that this helps!!

    James
