How many sweets in a jar?!

Sorry this is not a competition at a school fete, but just after some help from those who had/are having sweetie tables!

I know this is likely to be trial and error as different sweets weigh different amounts, but do you reckon 1kg of cola bottles for example, is enough to fill this 1 litre jar? My maths skills are failing me! x

I would say that a kg would probably fill the jar without about 1/3 spare. We had 2x500g boxes and still had plenty left for a top up.
