How much do tiara's cost?

i cant wait, 1 September, 2009 at 16:43 Posted on Planning 0 11

THere seems to be such a variation of prices at bridal shops i have been to, can anyone tell me how much is resonable to pay? I dont want something too fussy or big. Thanks for any help/advise. Or if anyone can recommend any good sites Smiley smile

They really vary, I found them a lot cheaper outside of bridal shops. Try here: www.hair-we-go.co.uk

I saw them at a wedding fair in Milton Keynes and they have a big selection. I got mine from this website and they were delivered promptly and well wrapped. I think (although not sure where) that they have a showroom.

I have the most beautiful tiara from Debenhams, it was £40, it is by Jon Richard. Check out the Debs website they have a good selection in my opinion.

BHS are current having a 1/2 price wedding sale which includes tiara's so you could try there as well.

    Hi,

I am a jewellery/tiara designer so any questions just shout. My most expensive tiara is £70 or £80. I supply to shops in Glasgow and their mark up varies greatly. One shop I used to supply to was selling a tiara for £245 when buying direct from me cost £60. It's madness but not all bridal shops are as bad.

My website is www.lynseysdesigns.co.uk if you want to have a nosey.

    Hope that helps.

I sell ready made tiaras and they start under £10. Basically as far as prices in general go you can pay whatever you feel is necessary well up into the hundreds. Handmade ones will cost more, basically bcause of the work that goes into them, I buy in from the USA. I hvae added a few more this week. https://www.3djewellery.co.uk/index_files/simple_bridal_prom_tiaras.htm

I used to supply to a few shops & they used to put either 200% or 300% mark up on them! Crazy prices - I stopped selling them their as I didn't want my name being associated with such crazy prices. Anyway feel free to take a nose at my site if you are still after inspiration: www.katievaledesigns.com

    Cheers

    K.
