I had them. I had a top tier and then lots of minis of that. Is that the sort of thing you were looking for?

Let me check my emails for the price as this is going back nearly a year now. I think it was about £500.

Here is a pic of the cake. I had my flower girl give them out to the guests. I had half fruit and half sponge done.

And this is our flower girl giving them out.......

    Hope that helps x

    Hi,

We've ordered a 6 inch top tier of fruit cake and 50 mini sponge cakes (several different flavours) and it is costing us £360 including cake stand hire, delivery and set-up at our venue. Each of the mini cakes are having little sugar flowers in a circle on the top and the top tier will have the same sugar flowers in a scalloped pattern round the sides. They will all have ribbon round them. Not got a picture as we designed them ourselves.

We didn't really fancy the traditional two or three tiered jobs and OH doesn't fancy the cupcakes I suggested so a happy medium.

Well, I am sitting here contemplating the very same thing!

I was a wedding fayre on Sunday and a very nice cake lady was there and she quoted me £3.30 per mini cake of either lemon, vanilla or chocolate sponge, fully iced in silver cup cake cases (can have them without for same price) with snowflake decoration. She would put ribbon around if not having the cases. The cake samples were yummy. I don't know where you are but her company is www.givemecake.co.uk (based near Reading, berkshire). I have been quoted £6.50 per cake by another lady and the wedding mags have them starting around £9.00. We are having mini cakes for the guests and a small cake for cutting. Going to buy M&S white iced cake for the evening and put ribbon round it for the evening guests. Cheaper that way.

Hope that helps, happy cake tasting!

We do mini cakes in two different sizes. Individual or for two portions...

Prices start from £5 so shop around if you get quoted at £9.
