How to get rid of chilli fingers?

Puss, 26 April, 2008 at 09:46 Posted on Off Topic Posts 0 5

Just chopped some and thought I had washed it off but I haven't. Wouldn't be a problem if the baby wasn't going to wake soon and I am not sure she would be thrilled at the taste of chilli when I delatch her / she teeths on my fingers etc... how can I shift it?

    Wear wooly gloves?

I know rubbing hands on stainless steel works for getting rid of garlic but don't think it will for chilli.Just keep washing them perhaps.

Will try olive oil (not to self, do not go near BBQ when marinaded ?). Stainless Steel doesn't work, I just tried that ?.

    Thanks!

That was recommended to me by a friend. (He only found this out after chopping chilli - and then going for a pee. ?)

Milk works too but only if it is full fat. Its the fat in the milk that counteracts the chilli so by going straight to oil you cut out the middle man. ?
