How to send Save the Date

Hollie, 30 March, 2021 at 20:21 Posted on Planning 0 3
Hi,

Can someone please help.
I’m about to send my save the dates to our guests. I have written the addresses and added stamps to the envelopes but I’m not sure if I should put them in the post box or take them to the post office for them to send off?
Any help would be great!
Thanks ? Hollie

    Hi

Why would you need to take them to a post office? You don't need to. If the envelopes have postage on them just put in a post box. That is what I did and I got responses to say some had arrived the next day and they were sent second class too so I was expecting the post to take 3 days. In the end it was quick.

Post box should be fine unless you have a magnet or pencil or something as part of the save the dates. For a normal stamp the letter can only be 0.5cm thick. Luckily we checked ours before posting and they were just too big so had to use large letter stamps.
