How to set up a menu option tab for guests

Sophie, 12 June, 2022 at 20:40 Posted on Feedback to Hitched 1 11

Hello, I am just setting this up as we are getting married next year. I am trying to set up menu options for my guests to select... Can anyone help me with setting up the option? Any advice/help would be very much appreciated ! Smiley smile

If you search on YouTube there’s a video called ‘edit menu choices on hitched@ and shows you how to delete and add in your own

Sorry it is me again... Managed to create the page so i can see the menu option but how do you set it up so your guests can choose their meal option as they confirm their attendance ?

I have seen it done at the same time and the Bride who did it said it made collecting that information much easier and meant it was all together.

    Many thanks

I think you had to go to settings in the overview tab and tick track menus, then when you send invites tell guests to choose menu on their RSVP, I remember though it wasn't that clear so we had to chase a lot of people and update their choices manually!

I just made a Google form for our menu options and linked them to the site for guests to fill in 😊

Yes I booked mine from 2pm to 5pm. Hertfordshire. £700. That is going to include a small album. That’s all I wanted. I don’t need alll those getting ready pics or speech pics. There will be lots on everyone’s phones.

I gave up and had to email everyone separately because I have found the Hitched website too difficult to work out. I set up a tab and people started leaving their choices in the comments. The page where the options are given only lets you created a voice of meat or vegetarian. Even the email your guests doesn’t work as you’d want it to. You can only send an invitation or chase confirmation. And doesn’t let me select my evening guest list separately. I hate the back end of the site for this. The best bit is that I can export int excel and the seating plan.
