How to tell family they’re only invited to the reception

Not the same situation but similar, I have had to cut cousins from ceremony due to having such a large family! I sent a message to them in advance to explain at our venue space is limited on capacity so we cannot unfortunately extend the ceremony invite to everyone, and having planned or are planning their own weddings we hope they understand but we would love to celebrate with them in the evening. Have you thought about live streaming the ceremony? My brother did this as he had his wedding in lockdown so it meant that people could still be part of the ceremony, it may be a way to appease them. good luck
