I'm doing a reading for my brother's wedding on Saturday (eek ?) and it has a word in it 'docilely'. Would you say it docile-eee or do-silly? Help!

Not sure, but if you can find it on Wiki or in the dictionary, they have info on pronounciation.

I'd say it doh-si-lih-ley. Because of the 'l' before the 'y'.

Your phonetic spelling is better than mine! This is what I meant - long i, rather than short i.

I would stumble over that no matter how many times I rehearsed! Can't you just change the word? Smiley winking
