Ok well, mother has fallen in love with...

from debenhams. They are 100 bucks at the moment but we are hopeful now as the party season is coming to a close we might get them a weeeee bit cheaper....I didnt want to go for the prom dress look but i realised they would look stunning on the girls. We also found the most gorgeous beaded 1930s style shrugs so are keeping our fingers crossed there too...

so, i'll order them up as soon as I can. hurrah. I can stop whinging noo Smiley smile

Ah...umm... well the kids havent seen them. I'm sure they will like them.

the only reason why I didnt want to use Debs was cos of the fabrics I had seen in my local store. They had one of this dress hiding behind a mish mash of others and at first mum loved the midnight blue ones, that two-toned black n blue thing which I hate. So I knocked those on the head. Metallicy blue is just yuck and woulda clashed horribly with the CBMs navy satin dress...

These dresses are just dark blue and are more blue than black. As they only had one in stock so mum could see that for herself so i'll order online....

now im hoping we dont look odd as a mix of frocks.. ?

It's a lovely dress, my friend had it in black when she was a bridesmaid earlier in the year, and my sis had it in red for a ball. It seems to be a style they keep revaming in different colours as it's so versatile. Good choice!
