i can’t get the guest list to transfer to wedding website

Hi, I have been really pleased with the wedding website, so easy to design! However I can’t seem to get the guest list on hitched to link with the attendance section on the wedding website. When the person searches their name is says there is 0 guests with this name, which isn’t correct, they are on the guest list but can’t be found on the attendance section. Can you help please?

    Hi there

    Sorry you are experiencing issues with the RSVP area of the Wedding Website. We recommend to your guests that they search by only 'first name' or 'last name' and not both. It should then be able to provide some results for them to select from. We're happy to help assist adding some wording around this on the RSVP page for your guests to view.

    Hey Lizzy,

    Ahh ok, you need to make sure guests are in the guest list for the event you would like them to RSVP to, like Ceremony, Wedding Reception or Wedding Breakfast. The overview guest list works like a reference list. You can then move them from there to any event you'd like to and then they'll be able to RSVP to that event.     Some of my guests have had this issue too. Tried first names or last names only. When I search for them on my iPhone or laptop, they are there. Someone tried on a different device and it then worked for them. There seems to be some sort of glitch depending on devise?

    I found that it's sensitive to any spaces - are there any accidental spaces at the beginning/end of their first name or surname, either when they are typing or in your guest list?

    Has anyone else noticed that recently that when searching for a guest name on the wedding website, it only shows up as first name and the initial of the last name, (I would be Charlotte B.). I tested this a couple of months ago and it was showing full names. Is there any way to get the surname to show as well?

    I have noticed this too and can't work out how to fix it! We have tried to get round it by entering guest names with both the first name and surname in the first name box then asking guests to search using the first name box only- this does work but is a bit annoying to be honest.

    I have the same issue with the surname part. its really frustrating. Is there any fix to this ?

    How do you move guests to a new event? I added an event and put all of my guests on a designated list but they aren't showing as being invited to the new event.

    I was able to figure it out! While you are in that event tab click the "add guest +" button and you can add them from there! I hope that helps. I was able to check off the guests I wanted to invite to that event.

    I am uploading the guest list using the suggested template and its not saving into my list?
