i don’t like my wedding dress

Hannah, 13 May, 2021 at 06:45 Posted on Planning 0 1
Hi guys,

I was due to get married summer 2020 and had everything in place for the wedding to go ahead as many others did. When I chose my wedding dress I loved it but as it got closer to the wedding I wasn’t too sure. Now we’ve had to postpone our wedding. To summer 2022 I’m almost certain that I’m not happy with my dress. It just hasn’t got the wow factor and I am now pregnant so I’m expecting my body to change.
Anyone else in this position? What are your thoughts about getting a new dress? My dress shops Ts&Cs say strictly no refunds.
Thanks

If you are certain that if you got rid of your dress, you wouldn't miss it then I would suggest selling it. My body changed drastically after pregnancy and even 7 years later isn't what it was! When r u due? Dress shopping is going to have to be fairly tactful if it's early 2022, I would maybe contact some local dress shops to give them a heads up on how long you would have to between being able to try dresses on and getting married as I'm sure they would be accommodating for a new dress, and I would set myself a target of having the current dress sold pre due date. Congrats on all fronts by the way 😊
