The only advice I can offer is speak to your other half about your concerns, see if they are feeling the same about behaviours, if they think it’s normal.
How was your relationship with them prior to getting engaged?

I can’t imagine how you must feel about the lack of congratulations or being rudely spoken to- have you spoken with your fiancé about this? Is this normal for his family?


Re the money- nobody is obliged to contribute towards your wedding. Anything offered can be graciously accepted or declined.
