I'd also recommend adding in space for a PO number and get a PO from the company. This forms the contract and makes it easier to pursue if they don't pay up.

Thanks Pooch - I've already done it (efficient). I didn't do a PO, but I do have email correspoondence confirming the cost and that they will be paying. I hope that's enough.

You will need to register as self employed with HMRC though and ensure you put any income on a personal tax return - I'm sure you already know this though
