Welcome to the forum! Smiley smile

What do you mean "a song from him to bed"?

Also, nobody really walks them down the aisle as such. They're just already there waiting - him at the altar and your mother in her seat.

You could always have one of the ushers walk your mother down the aisle though if she particularly wants a "moment"

I think that may be an auto-correct issue and it should say "a song from him to her."

It is such a mine-field, with the processional, the recessional (we've finally agreed on "You've got a friend in me", the signing of the vows music, the music when everyone turns up.... I'm not sure we know enough music to cover all this...!

And then we need to think about what songs our entertainer (www.stevenheath.co.uk) is going to perform and what's on the play-list for the DJ!

    I think I need a lie-down!

Oh ok Mr_P - that would make more sense lol Smiley smile

I don't think so - we just went for Classical music to avoid this confusion lol can't go wrong with the Bridal March really Smiley smile

Personally I've chosen my own aisle song but I think it's lovely if your partner is thinking of choosing a song for you to walk down the aisle to so long as you trust his judgement 100% and haven't already got your heart set on a song. In relation to who walks mothers and things down the aisle, I think that's more of an american thing as normally mothers are already seated but in american weddings the groomsmen and the groom tend to escort mothers down the aisle to their seats. If you decide to do this though prepare to be choosing lot's of music as I think normally they have different entrance songs as well. My own mother has passed away but H2B's mother will already be seated and isn't having her own special entrance/walk down the aisle.
