Ideas on alternative canapés

Hi,
Im looking for ideas for alternative canapés. Has anyone done anything like a Popcorn and Pretzel stand with various flavours, scoops and bags/cones?
Or like a gourmet crisps and dip bar with premium kettle style crisps, pretzels / tortilla chips and dips?Open to any other alternatives. Just no crisps walls please . I cant justify over £1500 on canapés alongside what we are already spending on food for the day.
