Ideas please for Bridesmaid dresses Please!! xx

Dani1984, 14 May, 2011 at 21:29 Posted on Planning 0 19

Hi

Ok so now i have my dress want to start thinking of BM, i have four adults ranging from 16-31 they are all about size 8 or 10 and about 5ft 4in.

My theme is Ivory and Black with a bit of sparkle, I think i want long dresses as my CBM has said she def wants below the knee, i want them to look and feel good, i don't think i like the more heavy shiny materials, don't mind high street or bridal stores, my mum wants to buy them so don;t want to spend a fortune.

Any ideas or inspiration???

Thanks

xxxx

What does your dress look like??

I like Alfred Angelo BM dresses although I'm biased.

They have this one that has pretty rhinestone detail under the bust and you can get it in practically any colour you want, and its chiffon so not shiny.

Just read your comment about not being sure about the cost of Alfred Angelo dresses and thought I'd let you know that the website gives you a price guide- I found this out when browsing a few days ago, its a sort of key like system- next to the picture of the dress theres a row of little bell pictures- if you click on it it brings a key up for how much the dresses cost- for example:

    1 bell = under £125

    2 bells = under £150

    etc

    Hope thats helpful

    xx

How about this reduced from £150.00 to £36.00!

Alfred Angelo prices are pretty expensive but I just picked up one of my bridesmaids dress last week and I was so delighted with it, to me well worth the money.

mine had 4 bells on the website and I was £180.x

I can definitely rate Coast's dresses. We got ours from there and they're a chiffon/silk fabric - very light and floaty but the BMs all say they're really comfortable. Check out the outlet stores if you can. They may not have the sizes you need but they'll help you track them down from the stores round the country and you can then have them posted to you. I saved £300 doing that!
