I'm officially a loser

Ohwhatatuesday, 19 February, 2014 at 19:19 Posted on Planning 0 25

I bought these crisps today just because they go out of date on our wedding date and I got excited. I'm not even going to eat them. This wedding has made me mushy!

I do a similar thing and see best before dates and think... Ooooh, I'll be married by then!

DCM I squealed so loud when I was writing best before dates on my Graze boxes one day and I came across our wedding date....

Nick took the piss a lot.

Definitely something I'd do! I worked part time at a shop when I was at uni and was so glad to be leaving when I got a teaching post that for weeks I thought "I won't have to reduce this by the time it's near it's use by 'cos I won't be here!" whenever I was checking dates!

I am sooo doing this! Any excuse to laminate!

I'm so glad other people do this.

Kjay I can't believe you've been married almost 6 months! Time flies!

Goldpants - you write the best before dates actually ON your graze boxes - I knew you were organised but that is super organised!

    Thats cute!

but if your not getting married on a saturday you wont find your date on a packet of crisps.

they always expire on a saturday (wonder how many people will check now lol)

Did anyone else do that thing at school where you put a crisp packet in the oven and it shrinks and you make a badge out of it? You should totally do that. You'd be the coolest.

Silly wrong - I thought about that but I thought the date might shrink off.

Hoddy - there's a bunch of mini eggs with your date on too. milk has got to be the ultimate though as it means you've only got a couple of days left!

ATB I love the idea of you raiding Asda for best befores! I can almost see a product swap where we all starting trading "anyone want some starburst with 15 Nov 2014" and the like hahaha
