I'm worried my centrepieces are too boring/too small...

Rebeccafcr, 1 October, 2014 at 17:20 Posted on Planning 0 15

Hi,

We went to the Wedding Fairs at Manchester this weekend, and after seeing the displays there, i'm worried my centrepiece idea is too boring...

what do you think?

I have round mirrors to sit them on and a mix of clear and pink crystals to go on the table around....?

thanks Smiley smile

Nothing wrong with those at all - especially once you've put them on the bigger mirrors.

    Sometimes, less is more, remember!

These are sooo pretty, very simple but elegant. If your worried maybe just add a couple of tea lights on the mirror in between the larger crystals..

They're beautiful ! Nothing to worry about :-) you could always add 2 or 3 tealights on the mirror plate of you like?

I agree with everyone else, they are beautiful you've got nothing to be worried about.

These are super cute! IMO less is more when it comes to centrepieces.

That's really nice, I would second putting some tea lights round them to add a bit of oomph.

Thanks ladies. I think the venue provides tea lights so that's good!

I really like them. Very effective.

Remember there will be a lot of other stuff going on on your table - drinks cutlery etc. Plus your guests may have phones/cameras out. it's easy to fall into the trap of thinking you need to fill a table, but sometimes less is more. I think you've done a great job.

I love them! Very pretty Smiley smile

Different people like different things and I don't really like massive centrepieces personally as it can be quite difficult to see/speak to everyone around the table if you have a massive centrepiece in your way. Having said that this is just how I feel about the ones I have seen .. I'm sure there are plenty of equally beautiful large centrepieces out there! Smiley smile

I particularly love the windy sparkly metal 'twining' (?) around the candle ... reminds me of a wintry enchanted forest ..

Also those crystals are gorgeous .. where are they from?

    Hiya,

The table crystals I'm pretty sure I bought from wedding mall website.... the wrap around crystals I got from the wedding company website based in america.

I've bought that many bits from that many places I'm losing track!

It was the wedding company that I got the idea from for this centrepiece!x

They look lovely and don't need anything else adding to them!

I think they're lovely and not boring at all. We're having candles in vases with ribbon tied around them and that's it on our tables. We're just think the centrepieces aren't really going to have a big effect on how much our guests enjoy the day!
