Informal college interview - what to wear

I'd go smart as if for a job interview.

When i went to all my uni interviews everyone most people was were smart - suits/businessy wear. 5 or so years later, when i was doing tours of the dept for prospective undergrads they were mostly in jeans. The ones that made an effort really stood out, in a good way.

Id go smart too, though maybe not a full suit if its only an informal interview..

I learned the hard way there is no such thing as an informal interview! I was invited for one for a sandwich placement, to find a panel of four all firing questions at me! I doubt it will be like that but I always find confidence in looking smart so I perform better IYSWIM.
