Intimate Wedding Venues

Hi everyone,


I’d be really grateful if anyone could kindly recommend me any intimate wedding venues please. I live in Essex but would be willing to travel further afield. We have looked at Maison Talbooth in Dedham which for 24 people is £415pp (you can have more guests but that’s the minimum amount and those select 24 people get to stay at the venue) which seems a bit pricey in my opinion, plus I can’t say I overly loved the venue. We are looking for somewhere that is exclusively ours for our wedding day plus has somewhat of an elegant feel to it as well. (If you can’t be picky on your wedding day, then when can you hey?!) Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated!

    We are booked at Foxhill Manor in Broadway. It’s a very small, 8 bedroom venue but it is pretty expensive. We had our heart set on it, it is a very special place for us so it was one of the things we’re happy to splurge on.

    We’ve booked Sprivers Mansion in Kent for our intimate wedding. You get the whole place, can sleep up to 10 people and a the lady who owns it is lovely. You do have to use their caterer, but no corkage so can supply your own alcohol and save there.
