Invitation wording...

What do people think of the following wording? Not sure if this is the correct way to do an invite...

Mr and Mrs C

Request the pleasure of the company of

x

at the marriage of their daughter

Daisy and Mr Daisy

on Saturday 9th July 2016. The Ceremony beings at 12.30 pm

at xxxx

with reception to follow.

Please RSVP so your presence is planned by 31st march 2016.

By post: x

By e-mail: x

or by telephone: x

Please also find enclosed directions to x, details of local accommodation together with details of the couples gift requests.

We look forward to welcoming you on the big day.

    Very good apart from you should change it to:

    at the marriage of their daughter

    Daisy TO (not and) Mr Daisy

    You can find lots of templates on google, just type in 'wedding invitation template' and you'll get all different kinds ways to write your invites. Hope this has helped :-)

    Rather than this:

    I'd just put: RSVP by 31st March 2016

    The "please" is already in RSVP.

    In addition to what's been said above I found this a bit clumsy:

    "Please RSVP so your presence is planned by 31st march 2016."

    Just say RSVP by 31st March 2016

    I think less is more, don't try and use extra words to make it too fancy using the other girls suggestions I'd go with something like this.
