invitation wording...help please?

Howdy,

i need some advice on evening invitations. the wording on our day ones was very formal, however i've only ever been to one wedding before (just the other week!) and as we were invited to the full day i havent ever actually seen an evening invitation. ive kinda got an idea in my mind, but i dont want to sent something out that completely goes against etiquette!

    Our most recent evening invitation that dropped through the door yesterday was worded from the bride's parents saying "request the pleasure of the company of xxx and xxx at an evening reception to celebrate the marriage of their daughter xxx..."
