Invitations

Hi everyone, looking for some advice/inspo!


We have a group of my partners friends who we are inviting to the whole day of our wedding, 3 of them have partners who we are welcoming to the evening, but do not wish to have at the full day.
We both know their partners, but to be frank they aren’t our type of people and given we’re having small numbers at the ceremony it doesn’t feel right having them there.
We know his friends won’t mind, but just aren’t sure how to tackle the invitation situation! Do we send two separate ones, one to the friend with the day times and one to the partner with the evening? Do we just send the friend one and let them know they have a +1 to the evening? Has anyone had a similar situation?
