Invitations panic

debs1701, 25 January, 2009 at 13:01 Posted on Planning 0 3

OK, I know I have plenty of time to sort my invites but I will be ordering them over the internet and was wondering if anyone else has done this, did they work out ok?, where they what your expected?, did you have any problems?

What if I order them and there is something wrong with them?

Another thing as well is that I am thinking of putting RSVP cards in the day invites and leaving the evening invites up to sorting out their own, would that be ok?, there isn't any space to add an RSVP date so I am hoping that they send them back asap.

Tell me I am worrying about this a year to early ?...well wanting to get them sorted closer to the end of this year but is it really simple to order the invites online or am I worrying over nothing?

Thanks in advance

As long as you're very very sure you've checked the info and it's all correct before you hit 'submit' on the order page, getting invites online is fine! Do order them a bit earlier than you need them though just to be sure. If the printers make a mistake and it's their fault, they'll fix it. If there's a big problem, then you're probably covered anyway if you have wedding insurance.

    Thanks Mogwai

I need to get wedding insurance sorted out!, should actually go and research that now!

I suppose it shouldn't be too bad and if I have any probs I could always give the complany a ring ?

Most stationery companies provide proofs with all your details set and in your chosen colours for you to double check and approve before the full work goes ahead. In most instances this is all part of our service although some of the larger print companies will make an extra charge for this (if this is the case I would strongly advise you still get one.) If you require additional information such as an RSVP date this can usually be accommodated very easily even if not specifically shown on a sample.
