I am DIY-ing my wedding invites - most parts will be printed professionally but I'm not having a design service or templates or anything like that.
- envelope - C6
- invite - A6 card
- RSVP - A7 card
- RSVP envelopes - C7
I am a bit stuck on the information sheets. I was thinking of half a sheet of A4 lengthways (105mm x 297mm), folded in half so it is A6. Is it okay for this to be printed on paper? I want a specific look of paper, so the choice is between 90gsm or 170gsm, but 170gsm might be tricky to fold. The other option is a double-sided A6 card, but I wanted it a different size/shape to the invites.
I also can't get the venue address and details to look nice on the information sheet, so I was thinking a different business card size card in the envelope with a nice map illustration the venue provide on one side and the venue and hotel addresses on the other.
I've put our mobile numbers on the information sheet at the moment, but would this be better on the business cards if I do this? Or I could have them on both.
We're not having a wedding website or anything so I want to get all the information into the envelopes!
Is the extra business card a step to far? If I do it all it would be five things inside the envelope - I have done a trial and they will fit, but will my guests be overwhelmed by the volume?
