I haven't but my friend was one for a while.

she had to get 5 parties booked and taken place within a month or 6 weeks (i think) to qualify. She found it quite hard to keep up the parties and get people interested in them. but it depends on how many friends you can get to do the parties and how much advertising you do. she didn't do so much advertising hense the reason why she didn't get a lot of bookings.

from what i remember her saying she did make good money on the sales she did make and got very good discount on the make up she had to buy to show at parties.

i'd be interested to hear in success stories and it is something i would like to do to get some extra cash.

Yeah I guess they are all pretty much the same are they not?

What was it like? Did you get many parties? Make much money?

Any info and tips would be great!

There are fewer VV shops so people come back to buy through you, and that was a big part of my business once I had customers. I prefer VV products to Body Shop and they have a big following. I loved it and did it for several years, building up a team and becoming a manager. The perks are fabulous with loads of free goodies and dos in nice hotels etc. It was great fun and I loved it. I only did 2 parties a week as I worked full time. I made about £700 a month IIRC.

I'm not sure what else to say ? Give it a go! What have you got to lose?

I haven't but my daughter was a Body Shop consultant at the end of last year. She made quite a bit of money from it too. Within a few weeks she was made area manager and reaped the benefits from all the girls under her too. She did very well booking parties as she has the gift of the gab. She also won a lot of prizes for highest sales etc. The only reason she gave it up was because she is a single parent and had trouble finding a sitter. I would say if you have no babysitting problems and are prepared to work 2 evenings plus a week, it is well worth giving it a try.

I know this isn't what you asked but I've never understood the point of Body Shop at Home. Theres one on every high street, if I wanted to buy any of their products (actually I boycott them because of their nestle links) I don't really need to have a salesperson babble on and play silly games for an hour first.

IMHO if its an excuse for a girls night in, just have a girls night in. I can see that Virgin Vie/Mini IQ etc are different because they don't have shops, but I just don't get Body Shop.
