Is anyone wearing a corset under their dress?

summer68, 29 of February of 2012 at 00:09 Posted on Planning 0 5

Hi, my wedding dress doesnt have a corset built in, but I love the shape that the corseted dresses give. However I read that they are uncomfortable so im not sure weither to wear one or not. Can anyone reccomend a good under dress corset?

Just be warned I bought a corest to go under my wedding dress (first wedding) many moons ago, didnt put it on with the dress till the day, no other underwear with me, had to wear it - I looked like a wanton milkmaid, i was spilling out all over the place lol

I have a waist sincher, it's totally elasticated with bones and does a really good job. Not as severe as a corset and has smooth lines under the dress. I got mine from a market for £15, they have them in Debenhams and House of Fraser for about £25. It's a bit grannyish and a lovely 'flesh' colour!....but it does the job and i'll still be able to enjoy my dinner!
