Yes. My boutique recommends everyone wears them. Even size 8s! X they said m&s magic pants are the best x

I tried a few different control pants for under my dress and asked on here for advice not that long ago, got a few recommendations and got a nice one.

What kind of dress do you have? I've since decided to to wear one at all as my dress is well structured and holds me in anyway and I don't think the control pants were making any difference so make sure before you buy that you'll definitely need some Smiley smile

I also worried about getting hot as we're getting married in the summer & on the off chance we have a sunny day here i'd be melting, I was roasting with it on in the dress shop but don't know if it was a mix of the heat in the shop and all the changing quickly haha.

I'm wearing them, I have briefs as I have a bit of a tummy through repeated operations so I have no tone left at the minute. I might buy another pair nearer the time as the ones that I have aren't too structured.

Not a chance. The few times I've worn them they have been supremely uncomfortable. I'll just pick a dress that hides my flub well enough on its own! I am currently a size 16/18 but hoping to be more like a 14 by the wedding, so I'm far from skinny. I just figure people can accept me as I look. Maybe if I was having a traditional wedding dress and/or more guests I might feel differently.

You can buy control pants for pear shaped bodies. There are cheap ones to buy if you wanted to trial a pair at your next fitting. Have you got a photo of you at your first fitting?

I can't cope with control pants and would end up wearing none by the time the wedding breakfast is over . They just push the bulges elsewhere. I find a decent pair of no vpl shorts or big pants do the trick just the same xx

I wore them over my lacy knickers. The minute the formal photos were over, I nipped to the ladies and took them off. It was a very hot and humid day and I would have melted if I'd kept them on much longer.

I'm having shorts style ones. Partly to hold in my thunder thighs but mostly because when I get into proper party mood mixed with a few too many vodka and oranges I have a habit of falling flat on my back side and flashing my pants to everyone around. Don't want to go giving my poor grand parents a heart attack lol

I will be for sure. The body that I'll be wearing (the only suitable one I could find for my dress) has a g-string and if I don't wear something underneath I'll probably be trying to pull it from out between my cheeks all day long!

I'm wearing them but mainly because it should be hot when we get married and the heat of wearing them is preferable to thigh chafe and I'd like to smooth down my silhouette, my belly button tends to show in dresses and my dress is quite form fitting.
