Hi everyone,

Im new, and have been trying to loose weight for about a year, prob lost about a stone trying to be as lowGI as possible.

However, i seem to have reached a plateau and need to shift another 1 and a half stone to get my BMI to 25.

Just trying my first slimfast shake, they were on offer in tesco so i thought id try....but what can i say...yuck! I'm now craving a butty as i cant get it down.

Is it just me who thinks they are minging?

Help!

Slim fast is yuck! Try a diet delivery plan. I find they're so much better as they're real food that is healthy and I've lost so much weight from it and it's been so easy! I used MY Food and found them to be the best but there's loads out there!

    Good luck x

You're definitely not alone — SlimFast shakes can be hit or miss for some people, and if you're not a fan of the taste, it can make sticking to your plan tough! The good news is, there are plenty of other options to help you with your weight loss goals.

You could try different meal replacement brands with flavors you enjoy more, or focus on a high-protein smoothie with fruits, yogurt, and maybe a bit of spinach or oats for extra fiber. This way, you can control the ingredients and make it more satisfying.

Also, don’t forget to mix in healthy snacks or meals that fit your low-GI approach. There’s no one-size-fits-all solution, so find what works for you while still being mindful of your goals. You’re doing great, and a little trial and error is completely normal!
