Is my dad right to be annoyed?

I'm getting married in September and I asked my stepdad to walk me down the aisle (him and my mum have been together 13 years and I see/speak to him at least 3/4 times a week) My dad and stepmum have naturally been invited to the wedding, Now I very very very rarely see or speak to my dad maybe a phonecall twice a year and I've actually seen him twice in 6 years, him an my mum split when I was 3 and he was never around much when i was growing up either, he hasn't even met the man I'm marrying (He's been offered many times to meet him) He has now made a big song and dance about not walking me down the ailse, was very nasty to me on a phone call and is now saying he might not come to the wedding if he's not walking me down the aisle. Am I being unreasonable for not allowing him to walk me down the aisle or is he being unreasonable acting the way he is when he hasn't really been in my life to warrant being a proud dad at his daughters wedding? Any advice would be greatly appreciated!
