Is my dress unflattering?

It’s just a few weeks to go until my wedding and basically my bridal alterations aren’t going well. This is my dress at the moment, I’ve already been for several fittings as I changed the sleeves. But now I’m worried the shape is just not that flatting on the bottom, maybe it should be tighter I don’t know. I’m really struggling to find what’s wrong exactly, I haven’t been able to bring anyone to the fittings with me as I quite often go in the daytimes and none of my bridesmaids live close by. So I haven’t been able to a single opinion from anyone else and my brain is done with all the decision making! Help please. What would make this shape better?Is my dress unflattering? 1

    Personally, I'm not a fan of those skin-tight skirts on wedding dresses - I think something that is fitted but not too fitted, like you have here, is more classy, so I definitely wouldn't get it cut tighter. Your dress looks lovely on you - I think you've maybe been spending so long looking at pictures that you've lost sight of what you really look like! And don't forget, on your wedding day, you're not going to be standing in a boutique changing room trying to get a photo in the mirror - it's impossible to get a good picture under those circumstances! You'll look very different when you've got your hair done and you're all dressed up ready to go down the aisle.

    I agree it looks lovely on you and I wouldn’t make it tighter.
    I have had a nightmare with mine. The lady that made it from a pattern I supplied, on second fitting, said it looks like ‘a sack of cack’! So I know what you are going through, mine too isn’t finished, but is looking better.

    What has really worked for me is shapewear. I bought a waist cincher from Bombshell HQ and it makes my figure look amazing. Maybe worth trying, it might give you the boost/final tweak you are looking for.

    Thank you so much. I am actually wearing shapewear with the already! The back is low so I have some spanks that have a low rise back. Hope yours works out!
