It would be cool if you do it dictionary style....rather than the mock fantasy style that the stall in my local mall has adopted.

I think it will be good as OLL said if you do it dictionary style like your post above. And deafinately a good way to get people talking especially if you have a mix of people who don't know each other at your tables.

I really love the idea. So sweet. Although as Geordiebarbie highlights, for people with more exotic / international names, it might be hard to do...

We wanted something similar to break the ice so opted for this, you basically found your birthday on the front and on the reverse it was a decription of your character - an old celtic astrology apparently... we left them on their seats when they came into the wedding breakfast. So yes, I think something to break the ice is a good idea!

Just mocked one up for you (tried to do it on off white so you could see it, but the colour I chose was too light!)....

I think they'll look fab! And for there are websites that have tonnes of names, so I don't think you'll find, finding the meanings for "exotic" names that difficult.

I think its a nice idea, and i like OLL's example, but as other others have said, check out the more random names first to make sure you can do everyones.
