It's my hen this weekend .....

How exciting! I was on 2 hen weekends this weekend and it got me thinking about mine.

I'd love a surprise but I'm not sure I'm willing to hand over that much control!!

It's mine this weekend coming. Not a big affair. Don't know the exact details and slightly dreading the surprises ??? lol as long as some cocktails included I'll be happy

now all I need is to get this sinusitis shifted and I'm ready to go

Mine this weekend too !! There are 10 of us, we've rented a lovely big house on Anglesey with a hot tub .... Whoop !! Can wait, arranged to all travel down on Friday, cook a big meal in on Friday night, sat day is pamper & hot tub time, Sat night meal out at local pub with really good reviews on food & sunday walk on the beach before we head home. Cannot wait xx

That sounds just like the one I went on over Easter weekend! The bride didn't know anything. It was 10 of us in a row of three self-catering holiday homes, with a hot tub. On Friday night we had pizza and wine and played games and went in the hot tub, then on Saturday we did an outdoor team-building activity in the morning, chilled in the afternoon and painted our nails, then had dinner out, a cocktail-making class, and lots of drinks and dancing until late! What was particularly good was that it was so well organised - the BMs had done a really great job, and we'd paid for everything except dinner and the night out in advance.

Ahh how exciting! Have a great time, make sure you come back & tell us all about it.

mine is at the end of May. All I know is when we are going and who is coming (20 of us!). I can't wait. My MOH knows me like a sister so I know I'm going to live it!

SAME! I have planned mine and the arrangements, and managing the attendees. 2 of my BMs persuaded me to at least let them plan the 'finer' points. Took months of them and H2B to convince me!

Yeah, I like to have control of things, but I also like surprises - weirdo I know lol

Last day in work now, my MOH isn't in work today (we work together) but our other friend that's also coming is, and she has been emailing me all day with really random things just winding me up! lol

She's currently out buying more booze! Think we might drown in alcohol as everyone has told me what drinks they're bringing oh dear! Really not looking forward to my meeting in work on Monday morning!

The other ladies who are having their hens this weekend too - enjoy yourselves! And yes we shall swap notes next week! eek!

Enjoy! Mine is next weekend and although I wanted to organise it myself, my MOH was having nothing of it so it will all be a surprise to me. I'm amazed that she is doing it all as she won't even be there as she is due to give birth that day!!

just called in at my best friends salon to check on eyelash appointment for hen weekend (trialling them at the hen do this weekend) A quick scramble as I entered to hide 'stuff' behind reception counter! I have warned them lol. Don't think they are listening tho
