It's our engagement anniversary...did he remember?

Of course not! One year ago yesterday he proposed to me in a restaurant in Boston. I later had a bracelet made for him with the date engraved into it. This bracelet has never left his wrist. And he STILL doesn't remember! <Insert eye rolling smiley here> Men. Maybe I'll have more luck with the...

    WEll I felt like a complete idiot today as he came home from work and suggested we went out for lunch on Sunday to celebrate our engagement one year on - I'd only got the date wrong myself!! Haha! Oops. I knew there was a reason I loved him....!

    We'll only have one engagement-versary before the wedding so think we'll probably stick to celebrating the wedding anniversary. We were going to do something on our housebuying-versary but so far remember about a fortnight later! It's nice to remember all of these dates but I think the wedding date will be the important one (and birthdays).

    Neither of us can remember exactly when we got together (it's in an old diary somewhere!) or even when we got back together after a year.

    I'm lucky as we got engaged on my birthday and we're getting married on his so he has no excuse to forget

    We got engaged on xmas day so it is easy to remember.

    We can't remember the exact day or month we got together- we think june or july so we used to just make it up and have about 3 weekends out.

    I think the wedding anniversary will trump- we had a pre anniversary meal out this year- thought might aswell practice haha,

    Get together anniversary is 29/06/08

    Engagement was 29/06/11

    Wedding was 29/06/12

    So the 29th of June is a big day for us. I love that's its on the one day as its so special that we will always celebrate it and always remember that is when we got together/engaged and married.

    And it is easier for him to remember one date!!
