For my whole life, as I’m sure many other little girls did, I dreamed of my wedding day. A big, white traditional wedding. So much so that when we got engaged, we knew exactly who to contact and what to book. My issue now, is that little me didn’t have a concept of money and it’s something I still struggle with as an adult. I want the big day so badly, but our total costs being near £50k is sickening. We keep going between ‘it’s our one day, the one day you have everyone in one room, money comes and goes’ to ‘oh my goodness this is so much money’. What are your thoughts? (And no shaming for the amount we are spending please)
