Ivory flowergirls dresses, white shoes?

warlycarly, 29 June, 2012 at 22:50 Posted on Planning 0 11

I was wandering how it would look to have white shoes for my flower girls, their dresses are ivory. Would it look ok?

My daughter going to be wearing an ivory dress for our wedding and rather than hunt for matching shoes she's going to have red shoes as that's our colour (and silver). I'm going to be in an ivory dress and red shoes too.

You could get white shoes and accessorise them to match your colours.

To be honest I dont think it will make a huge difference. My young bridesmaid was in ivory and i doubt anyone would have noticed her shoes really. If you are that bothered why not have a very different colour and make a statement. that would depend on your colour scheme though.

Oh not that hard to get. I suppose it depends on how old your flowergirl is. I was quite lucky with my young 10yr old bridesmaid as she got the tall genes from our family and she was actually taller than me (I am short!) She also has size four shoes. Some of the ivory shoes for little ones can be a little over priced but try the high street as some are so beautiful and great quality.

I got ivory shoes for my fg from BHS. About £18 if I remember correctly.
