BIG Brother legend Jade Goody has cervical cancer, it was revealed last night.

The mum of two, 27, received the bombshell news as she was appearing in the Indian version of the reality TV show.

Jade told housemates “I have cancer” after the devastating news was broken to her in the diary room of the show’s Indian version.

The star was in hysterics as she made the announcement.

She was immediately withdrawn from the programme and was last night being flown home for treatment.

From reading bits and pieces today, it seems she knew there was a strong possibility she had cancer before she left for Mumbai, but she has said that she needed the money to look after her children, because if she had cancer she couldn't work.

I think whatever happens with her, there will undoubtedly be publicity. It's how she pays the bills, and you know, whatever gets you through. The woman has cancer, let her do what she's got to do.

Oh God, they're showing the footage of her being told on ITN. That's repellent. I don't know who is more nauseating, Endemol or Max Clifford. Whatever the truth of it, it's looking like a wind-up publicity stunt now.

    Grim.

And what kind of doctor passes out that kind of diagnosis via an agent and tv cameras? How can that possibly be argued to be in the patient's best interests or her family's?
