Jam Doughnut Tower?

I love the idea, messy maybe but fun!

I think thats a really good idea! We went to a wedding last year where they had a krispy kreme tower and it looked awesome, think jame doughnuts would work just as well ?

As a doughnut fan, I would love to go to a wedding and discover the cake is a tower of doughnuts, but I agree with above posters, make sure you have plenty of napkins! YUM YUM, it's making me hungry.

I love the idea of a doughnut tower but if Mrs CGP to be is as clumsy as me she won't want to run the risk of getting jam on her dress!

I Luurrrrrve the idea of a jam doughnut wedding cake.

Maybe putting each one on a napkin/or something looks nice and reduces the mess factor?

Now I'm hungry and reconsidering my cake plans for the umpteenth time. As the bride, I would want a full on apron to wear because I would NOT want jam on my dress. I am very messy and clumsy and forgetful - sometimes forget I have things in my hand and do wild gestures etc. OH is, very surprisingly to me, very traditional about all this stuff so I doubt I could get away with it.
