Jamaica Wedding July 21 - Need to lose weight and tone up!

RomanticGreenBridesmaid30470, 20 October, 2020 at 17:37 Posted on Beauty & Wellbeing 0 13
I’m getting married in Jamaica in July, so I’m looking to lose at least a stone and tone up, especially my legs and tummy area. I try really hard to follow the slimming world plan, which does work well for me but I’m finding it difficult to lose much. Does anybody have any tips?
Thank you!

MyFitnessPal is great - once you start tracking everything, it makes you more accountable - and you realise how many calories are in certain things!

Good luck - I’ve just started trying to shift some pounds too! Smiley smile

Hi, I am a fitness and nutrition coach and I help brides to drop a dress size (or more) and feel their best on their big day without spending every day in the gym or giving up their favourite foods.

My 12-week bridal coaching package takes the guesswork away so you can focus on doing what it takes to achieve the body you're dreaming of.

If you'd like to find out more about whether you would be a good fit to work with me, let me know.

I’m in the same position. I’ve been doing a fast 800 (light) ie still drink wine sometimes and might have a biscuit in a 2 week period.

Plus daily Pilates and workouts with weights. I’ve dropped a stone in 4 weeks. My dress has arrived in store and I’m trying on for the first time in 2 days. Fingers crossed ??

I think following a workout plan with a healthy diet is necessary if you want to see results. There are a lot of plan out there which often not able to help you to lose weight. A good plan is the one which is customized according to your fitness level and your future goals. For losing the tummy you can follow these tips https://blog.aqfsports.com/how-to-get-rid-of-lower-belly-fat/ to see results. The good thing is a lot of exercises mentioned there are easy to perform at home during such circumstances.

My coaching is 1:1 personalised coaching tailored to your specific goals. I do also offer online group fitness classes as well but they are for general fitness. I'm based in the UK so not sure whether the time difference would work for you. My classes are usually around 18:00 GMT.

Unfortunately due to lockdown I wasn’t able to try it on ?. My try on is now scheduled for first week in March and 1st fitting later that month.

Plus side, it’s keeping me on track with my workouts. Based on my measurements I’ve gone down 3 bridal dress sizes (lost > 1 stone since I picked it and keeping toned) - I’m back in my size 12 (U.K.) so keeping positive.
My only real stress is every time boris makes an announcement

If you're not opposed to getting treatments that can help, I'd recommend PHI Clinic in London - they have a couple of treatments that might do the trick. Coolsculpting is one, which reduces fat in target areas and you can do it alongside trusculpt, which is one of those electrical impulse devices that tones muscles. I've not personally had these treatments but I have spoken to their nurses about them when I've been in for dermal fillers and I've seen their before and afters, some people have amazin results!
