Jamie Oliver's fish pie - wot, no cream?

We're having this for dinner tonight. I notice there's no cream or sauce with the filling - is this right?

    I would do as the recipe suggests and add some creme fraiche. Oh, and some wholegrain mustard, I like it with the wee kick that gives.

    I do his fish pie recipe from the naked chef cookbook and that has 300 ml of double cream in it ( as well as mature cheddar. juice of a lemon adn a teaspoon of english mustard).

    I do the one C-L talks about as well, except I tend to use creme fraiche instead. And I usually miss out the spinach too.

    I haven't made that one, but have made his fresh salmon pie with leeks and creme fraiche. Sometimes I substitute the leeks for spinach. Lovely.
