Jewellery & Accessories to match this dress?

Hey ladies,

All this WP malarky has made me realise how girlie I'm not! I haven't got a clue what jewellery and accessories would go nicely with this dress? I know I need something, as it's quite plain, so if anyone has a good eye for things like this would you mind giving me a few suggestions please?

I love what she's wearing on her head here, but don't think it'd suit me at all!

I think you need a bit of bling, as the dress is simple and elegant. I got mine off glitzy secrets, but theres loads of gorgeous ones on there. And maybe a bracelet from there to match?

I think you've got lots of options, depending on what sort of jewellery you want to wear.

If you want a necklace, I would keep it very simple, just a little pendant - but I don't think you necessarily need to wear a necklace as your dress has such a beautiful neckline.

I can't quite decide if there is any detail on the band around your dress? Its looks like there might be something very subtle, but its hard to tell on the photo. If there is no detail at all, then you could easily add some by attaching a brooch to the band. If there is any detail, then you might want to have a good look at it and see what materials are used, as it would be nice to be able to carry that through to your jewellery as well.

I think that you could get away with something a little bit more when it comes to a bracelet, perhaps something like this which can be made in any width you like (2 different widths of the same design shown below):

With regard to what to wear in your hair - there are SO many options! You could go down the birdcage veil route, adding some sparkly pins or a comb to accessorise the veil. You could go with an asymmetric headband, (I would wear the detail on the opposite side of your head to the strap on your dress). There are loads of choices out there, I think with such a soft look to your dress, I would keep the detail nice and soft in your hair as well, perhaps something along these lines:

One think I would really stress, is that any ideas you get from here, really should be taken just as ideas...accessorising an outfit is a very personal thing, and something that 1 person would wear, might not be the same as another person would choose (if that makes sense!?). Please don't feel that you can't wear something just because it has been suggested on here that you shouldn't - wear what YOU like/want!!!

Personally I'd have mainly pearls with some sparkle/bling brought in with crystals or diamante.

Do you know how you are wearing your hair as this can affect the hair accessory you go for? One design of mine that is really versatile and works with many hair styles is Glamour Puss

For a side tiara, something like Fandango would look lovely and I think the shape of it would look lovely with the one shoulder design.

Jewellery wise, I'd not wear a necklace (I hardly ever say that!) and go for a slightly chunky bracelet and dangley earrings.

I'd go for a two strand pearl bracelet with some diamante spacers. I have some lovely spacers that I have had for months but haven't had a chance to make new designs up yet but would be happy to mock it up for you if you wanted to see them.

Depending on your hair you could have a flower clip

I think a solid torque choker style necklace and matching bangle would look nice, and flowers in hair. i don't think it needs bling.
