Love Jo Malone products but not having any candles for the wedding as personally feel the style is more suited for home.

Hey funkyjameseo I also love Jo Malone candles and I like the orange blossom the smell is amazing. I plan to have two large candles with flowers on the fireplace as you walk in the front door to the venue. I think they can be really versatile as long as you choose the right scent. Hopefully I will get to re use them at home after the wedding as they burn for ages. ?

I bought Jo Malone candles and bubble baths as part of our gift packs.

I chose lime/basil/mandarin, a grapefruit one, blue agava/cacoa and orange blossom (I practically had to choose this as it was also the name of my dress design!).

Lime, basil and mandarin. I really like light, sharp citrus smells, both in candles and in pefume!

I love this idea MissMac, it will really add to the atmosphere. Must have a look at our venue next time we visit and see if there are any suitable locations for candles at ours!

As an alternative to Jo Malone, someone has given me 2 Yankee candles called Wedding Day and they smell absolutely beautiful (unlit), very fresh and uplifting yet calming too. She said to burn them whilst getting ready to keep me relaxed but I think it will take more than some scents to do that!

I think as with all scented candles they are ok for a short period of time but i know it can give people head aches if exposed to the smell for too long.
