    Hi July Brides!

    How is everyone getting on!?

Things have been quite hectic with our wedding plans recently but we really feel that everything is coming together now!

The reason I am really excited today is that all our RSVP's have come back now and everyone is coming to our wedding, so now we can order the place cards! Yeay! Smiley smile

I also made my own wedding hangers on the weekend, all I have left to do is add some organza ribbon and some diamantes and they're ready! Here is some of the unfinished hanger pics!

I also made my own 'In loving memory candles'. It took a couple of attempts but I got there in the end! Apologies i can't get the picture to load vertically instead of horizontal and excuse the background! We have only just moved house and yet to decorate!

My bride satin robe and my MOB and Bridesmaid robes came through the post last week too and I am so happy with them!

My groom 'gift' bag is nearly complete too which is great because I found that I spent more time deciding what to get for my better half than anything else!

I also got a telephone call on Saturday to say my Wedding Dress had arrived in their boutique and my first wedding dress fitting is in a couple of weeks, the day after my hair and make up trial too!

All we have left to do now is to go wedding ring shopping and choose the sweets for our sweetie cart and finalise the seating for the table plan! (I have been very lucky that my dad has a friend who is a carpenter and he has made our table plan from wood from scratch so all we have to do is add the names).

It's all starting to sink in now, soon I will be getting married to my best friend and the man of my dreams! I feel so lucky!

I have butterflies of excitement thinking about my wedding day!

Wow wow wow!! Those hangers look fab. How did you print onto them, was it like print transfer paper? Candles look lovely too! Sounds like everything is really coming together Smiley smile

It was really easy to do actually! I was looking online and people sell 'Bridal hangers' for roughly £20 to £25 each and thats ridiculous!

I brought a pack of 5 white wooden hangers and then went onto eBay and found a lady who can personalise vinyl stickers for you. Got them in the post and it came with instructions on how to put them on. You practically rub them on! So easy to do and much cheaper! Smiley smile Instead of it costing me roughly £125 for 5 hangers it cost me £8.40!

The seller of the vinyl stickers on eBay was jjadorablegifts. I am sure there are lots of others that sell the same stickers on eBay too.

Hope that helps if you have a go at making them yourself! Smiley smile

I used this seller too. Haven't got round to putting mine on the hangers yet so it's great to see they were easy to do - they look brilliant!

I really wanted hangers but couldn't justify the price tag on sites like NOTHS. Those stickers are brilliant! I'm going to order some hangers and stickers and do my own too, they look great. Thanks! Smiley laugh

That doesn't sound like very long at all does it?! What is left to do?

Planning is going well, in the last month or so I've got my bouquet charm, presents for the wedding party, children's activity packs, bathroom baskets and started buying the table wine.

Our venue had an open day recently and we had a meeting with our VOGs which was great.

We're waiting on about 10 RSVPs, so one of the next jobs will be the dreaded table plan! Evening invites went out at the weekend too, and I've got the ball rolling on my second hen do which is a local dinner with family and friends.

Getting closer and closer now ladies ...

People are asking me what we want as a wedding present. We didn't provide a list as we've been together 9 years and already have our own home and to be honest I felt cheeky asking for gifts so we have told people not to worry!

Got my dress fit a week on Saturday but my intentions of dieting went out the window after dad died a few weeks ago so I guess I am what I am and I've just got to hope I don't look to awful in my dress lol.

Nearly all our RSVP's are back but the deadline is still 10 days away! Then I can concentrate on our table plan.

I'm worried that there won't be enough time to do all those things you can only do at the last minute. Got candy trees to make, kids activity packs to do, place names to write, table plan to get printed, sweet table to sort, the list goes on and there was me thinking we were on top of things ... starting to freak out now !!!

Definitely feeling this! Hope you're doing well Shelly x

I have my hair trial tonight with my sister to finalise mine and the bridesmaids' hair - we're pretty sure on what we're doing anyway so will be nice to see it all put together Smiley smile

Hen weekend is next weekend! And on the Monday we come back, it's the 2 month mark! It's also the RSVP date so I'm hoping to get most of the one's we're missing within the next week or so, I'd like to not have to chase people.

I need some earrings - longish ones as the dress is strapless and I'm not wearing a necklace, so I need something sparkly. What are you ladies wearing?

I have a call scheduled in 10 minutes with the co-ordinator at our wedding to go through some of the questions I have, so hopefully that will be everything done for that.

It feels like it's all coming together but at the same time I feel like I have loads to do!

Good luck with your hair trial Laura. I have my hair and make up trial on the 7th June. Still don't know what I'm having. All I know is I want my hair up and out of the way for the day .

I'm doing ok thanks. Good days and bad days and of course the wedding day is going to be emotional but we are determined its going to be a good day where we can get to see all the family again for a happy occasion this time.

Jewellery wise I've got a diamante choker style necklace and matching bracelet (my dress is sleeveless but not strapless). My earrings are also diamante but not too dangly!

I've still got to meet my reception venue yet to go over the final details and set up etc and to pay the balance which I am hoping to do at the end of the month.

My to do list is getting bigger by the day !!

I'm not really having a hen do as such as I didn't want to go out and party so soon after losing dad so I will probably end up going for a drink with my girlfriends - a low key affair!

I hope you have an amazing hen and let's look forward to the 2 month mark!!!

Hope the rest of you July Brides are getting on ok!

I hope everyone is doing well with their wedding planning!

Now the sun is really out and I can feel summer is here, its making me even more excited for my wedding day!

I've had a very productive week for my wedding planning, I had my hair and make up trial on Thursday.

I absolutely fell in love with my hair style, the hair stylist I am using is AMAZING!

Yesterday me and my better half went wedding ring shopping and brought our rings! We went over budget by £1000 but i really really love my wedding ring and I am justifying it by saying that out of the whole wedding that will be the one thing that we will always wear!

After that I had my first wedding dress fitting! I was so excited! What absolutely gobsmacked me though was that when the alterations lady put my dress on she actually said that the dress was perfect and no alterations needed to be made! I was in absolute shock!

I have only just started to learn to walk again after major surgery on my leg and I thought I had put some weight on as I had been sitting on my backside for the past 2 months but I haven't, I've actually lost weight!

I now have my dress at home and have to keep it aired and as clean as possible before my wedding! Shockingly I am usually a size 10 but when I got the dress home and looked inside its actually a size 8! Flabbergasted to say the least!

Really my main goal has been to be able to walk down the aisle and without any walking aid and now I know I am going to be able to do that, I am so so happy plus amazingly the pain i have had for 10 years has gone! I literally could cry with happiness.

Good luck to all you July brides!

Not long to go now! 8 weeks and 5 days for me!

    x

I've just had a cancellation for the 9th July so if those of you that had enquired about that date only to be disappointed that I was already booked are still looking for a magician, please get in touch asap. Obviously a very busy day so it won't be available for long!

My hen is on the 25th June.

Had my dress fit today. Was so pleased as I'd lost weight so it fit me perfectly. No major alterations other than shortening the straps and adding a button to create a bustle. Happy days !!!

It's my hen party on 25th June too!

It is going to be a very crazy celebratory weekend! My sister lives in Dubai and has been arranging my Hen Party from there, I haven't a clue what she has arranged but I actually really like the fact that its going to be a surprise!
My sister flies in on 25th June and then we are straight out for my Hen Party that evening and then on 26th its my birthday so its even more celebrating!
I have a feeling that Monday 27th I am going to have a monumental hangover!

SEVEN WEEKS AND THREE DAYS TO GO UNTIL MY WEDDING DAY!!!! OMG, It really is coming around quick now!!!

    Hello ??

less than 7 weeks to go now for me! Can't believe how quickly it's coming round! Surprisingly not feeling stressed at the moment, just the odd frustration with the bridesmaids and in-laws but nothing major.

All that's left to do is:

-my shoes & jewellery & underwear

    -final dress fitting

-meeting with the florist & chair cover lady

-making of the cake & favours

-printing and decorating of the table names and places

    -bridesmaids presents

    -hen do x2

.....I think that's it..... I must be forgetting something?!

Hiya everyone. I've not been on in ages as we moved house a month ago and I haven't had internet until today. I also had to get a new job as we moved 45 minutes away so been very busy.

I cant believe the big day is now 2 months yesterday. I'm really starting to panic I'm running out of time. we've booked all the big bits but I still have lots to make and lots to do and my OH needs to do the few things on his list. I may murder him as he leaves everything to the last minute.

I had my first dress fitting on Friday, I love my dress but it really doesn't fit as I've lost a little weight, I was shocked at the alteration price but I'm having lots done.

The girls (and man) at my old job arranged a meal out for my hen last month which was so nice of them and so much fun.

I have my hen weekend on the 4th of June, I didn't want it to be to big as I'm shy so my bridesmaids and a couple of friends are going to Portsmouth for the weekend. I cant wait, I've been so stressed moving away and changing jobs this month that I will be nice to have fun.

I hope everyone is okay and not getting to nervous.

    Hi Ladies

I had my dress fitting on Saturday. I was shocked to discover no major alterations were needed and I had in fact lost weight since trying it on months ago. So all we are doing is shortening the straps on the shoulders and adding a loop to create a bustle to tie up the train after the ceremony.

I am so relieved that the dress fits. It's my BM's turn to have their dress fit this coming saturday!

Hope you are all on track - not long now!!
