You know that feeling when you've stared at a word for so long you're not even sure it's a word anymore? That's how I'm feeling looking at my OOC this morning ?

45 Days!! how did that happen??

We are starting to chase the outstanding RSVPs so nearly all in now.

Having a bit of a nightmare with the flower girl dresses. I found a lovely one on notonthehighstreet but when I have spoken to them they cant to a rush order like they said they can online so if I order them they will only arrive the Wednesday before the wedding if we are lucky so we will have to find something else. This part has been a real struggle.

They have started altering my dress, well I say altering, they are infact making a new dress for me that involves adding panels to the sides to accommodate the ever growing bump! I have 2 more fittings to go, on at the end of the month and the final one the week before the wedding. I just hope it all works out how they planned it, if not im a little stuck.

Ive got my hair and makeup trial on Saturday too so it's all go at the moment.

Part one of my hen do is also done (a long weekend away with my best friends). The next one is in a couple of weeks were mums and family and other friends can come.

Hows everything coming together for everyone else?

Feeling a bit overwhelmed at the moment. Had our last meeting with the priest last night. Came out and cried. Happy tears but have found the whole catholic wedding thing very overwhelming.

Chasing the last RSVPS so I can start upgrading people and sending out evening invites.

He is off on his stag next week and mine is a couple of weeks after that. Crazy dreams have started as well.

OMG Ladies ... Stop! You are freaking me out LOL!! 45 days to go, I can't believe it. After 2 and a half years of planning it's almost here.

We met with our venue on Monday to discuss final numbers, order of the day, set up etc and to pay the bill. My dress alterations are now complete too and they want me to collect my dress.

Got my hair and make up trial on the 16th and hen is now on the 18th.

Everything's going so fast now but we can at least say we are getting married next month ... YAY !!

I think I need to invest in some kind of sedative as my excitement levels have gone sky high!

    I hope you're all ok.

    Shelly xx ?

It's my hen weekend!!!!! So excited!

10 of us are off to Liverpool for the weekend. I've never been so I'm really looking forward to it. I know the hotel we're staying at but no idea otherwise, the girls have been very good at keeping it all under wraps.

Only 3 weeks 4 days and 22 hours to go!

Hey Pooba - the 2016 thread is up to date in the sense that I update it with everyone who posts in the thread. More people post in this one though, but I'm not sure if this one is updated as often - there was someone a few pages back who I remember was the same date as me, but I don't think she's on the first page. Sorry, not been much help here have I...?

Ha ha, no worries! I'll combine the two date threads and see what we have left.

IN THE MEANTIME, ANY JULY BRIDE WHO ISN'T ON EITHER LIST BUT WANTS A GOOD LUCK THREAD, PLEASE MAKE YOURSELF (AND YOUR DATE) KNOWN.

In previous months I've trawled through the month thread, but with 32 pages here I think I'll lose the will to live Smiley tongue

I've been trying to get some bits ticked off the list this week. I've made my table plan, started making the favour box's, have my (hopefully)last dress fitting tomorrow and I'm going to make a start on the canapes on Thursday which I will freeze. I feel like I'm running out of time.

Sounds like we're at a similar stage. I've just finished my table plan, had my final dress fitting today and still need to make my favours and cake! It's crazy how fast time is going past, I know what you mean about feeling like your running out of time. But just try stay calm and write lots of lists! All will be fine! (Or at least that's what I keep telling myself)

Just keep swimming it's funny how the idea of making all these bits sound fun at the beginning, lol.

I've got lots of lists but every time I tick something off I need add something else. But it will get all done. Luckily for me we moved away resently and i have decided to wait on getting another job till after the wedding now so i have more time then usual to finish things.

My mum's paid for our cake but I've made a 2 tier fruit cake which just needs icing and flowers made. What cake are you making just keep swimming? Does it need to be done at the last minute?

Ive got my (hopefully) final dress fitting tomorrow. Made my table plan last week, need to finish making my ribbon wands and table confetti.

When we started out wedding planning it seemed like such a good idea to make our own things, but now as times getting closer, work etc has gotten busier I sort of wish I had just paid people to do it.

Weve started paying our suppliers too now so its all starting to feel a lot more real now!

I managed to make a lot of the DIY stuff really early on, which I am very thankful for, especially since i'm now pregnant and have to sort out things for that too!

I had my hair and makeup trial last Saturday and i totally love what she went with, I still look like me, just a lot more glamorous.

After months and months of searching, I managed to find the flower girl dresses, in M&S of all places, they look lovely on and can't wait to see the 2 of them with them on with their shoes and hair all done.

We have hit a bit of a bump (ha ha, yes awful pun) with my dress. I have had my dress since 2013, and when I found out I was pregnant I spoke to the shop and they said it wont be a problem to alter it. I had the first consultation about getting it altered and I got upset over it. I was apprehensive about getting it altered, and I thought part of the belt wouldn't sit right, but the seamstress assured me it would be fine and told me what else they would do. I was prepared for the cost to run up to £500 plus as they were doing a lot to my dress. This was a couple of weeks ago, but on monday I got an email from the lady who runs the shop saying she has been thinking about it as it has been worrying her, she has suggested changing my dress. She sent me pictures of a sample dress they will sell me heavily discounted that would be more suitable and even with alterations it would work out cheaper than getting my original dress altered. So I have an appointment on Saturday to try this new dress on and see how I feel. I already feel a lot happier with this suggestion, so I may end up with 2 dresses! ha.

We are also down to paying the last couple of £100 on bits, and chasing up the final RSVP's. I can't believe how close we are now, it seems to have crept up on us.

Sounds like we are all really busy ladies ... It's just going to fly by now!!!

Like most of you, we're making final payments to suppliers. Our reception is now fully paid and I've had my final dress fit. Just waiting to pick up the BM dresses from the alterations shop!

Table plan done and printed. Place cards written out. Lots of bits and pieces still to do but can't be done until final days before.

We literally have no more free weekends between now and the wedding so I'm grabbing moments wherever I can to tick things off the list.

Hope you're all getting on OK and not starting to stress.

    Shelly x

I've been quite proud of being a chilled bride and not flapping over my decisions. Until about a week ago. Now I am second guessing and wanting to change loads of things!! I'm trying not to let that override everything though. I know I should trust the decisions I've been making up to now. Although we did change the whole spec of our wedding cake yesterday! But it turned out to save us £60 because it's a more simple design so that was a bit of a bonus!
