Of course. Believe it or not they came from Home Bargains and were £15 each. I obviously added the bows myself but they look much better in the flesh!

H2b and I just spent four hours on tripadvisor planning our Italian honeymoon! Obviously can't book anything yet for august 2016 but got a clear idea of what our route is, how many days in each area and what hotels we want to stay at, enjoyed it more than all the wedding planning put together!!

Haven't checked this forum for a couple of weeks, had a bit of a dry spell on the wedding front. We originally weren't going to have an evening reception as the hotel we booked doesn't cater for evening guests as it is only small however due to much deliberation over guests have decided to have one - now we have to pick an appropriate venue for an evening reception! :/ I'm sure it will all come together on the day but now I just have a number of worries circling around my head about people getting from the hotel, transport back etc!

Haven't even thought about my hen night yet, not overly bothered about having a big night out, will probably just go for a meal and a few drinks somewhere!

Have started looking at honeymoon ideas, both me and my OH are travel agents so are hoping to get an agent rate somewhere which will help with the finances, just can't decide where to go, we have 11nts child free so want to do something special and go somewhere that neither of us have been before! Most 2016 prices should be on sale by the end of April so can start looking properly then!

Planning still going well, ordered the save the date cards over the weekend and got a meeting with our photographer later this week to discuss our requirements for the day.

Made an appointment to go and look at dresses this coming Saturday, looking forward to it but also worried that I won't find anything that I like!

Having a good few wedding-y days! Have started getting quotes for vogs (although we are still undecided, and the quotes we're getting are swaying us towards not having it!). But MUA booked - v.v. important! - and we have our first meeting with preferred caterer on Monday! ?

How is everyone getting on? If anyone has any vog recommendations that cover Kent, it'd be greatly appreciated...

I've just messaged a shop about some flowers, and i have a consultation at another shop for just over a weeks time.
I'm dreading the cost of flowers - i want them but they won't last and they're so expensive Smiley sad

    We have recently booked ours.

For my bouquet, 2 BMs, 1 FG, 8 Ladies Corsages and 10 Mens, plus top table arrangement all for £370 (including delivery) I don't think that's too bad??

    That is really good!
I need a bouquet, 1 bridesmaid bouquet, 2 coursages, 1 groom buttonhole and 3 other button holes.

I'd be happy with just a bouquet for me(bag for BM) and a button hole for OH, but he wants more people to have them. Gah!

I went dress shopping on Saturday and have found the one!! So relieved as really didn't think I would find anything I liked! Was the second one I tried on too!

Save the dates were sent out today so making a bit more progress, going to calm down a bit now though as think we have sorted a fair bit and the wedding has only been booked 2 weeks, lol x

OK so three of my bridesmaids have tried on their dresses today. Two of them loved the dress, the third, who didn't like it beforehand, now likes it after trying it on. She loves the top half, it's just the really long skirt that bothers her, but I am more than happy to have it altered. I told her to sleep on it, she doesn't have to give me a yay or nay today. She wasn't as excited about it as the other two, so I am a little paranoid that she is just being polite about it all, but she did look gorgeous!!

Just need maiden number 4 to try hers on, but I am not worried about her in the slightest as she wears this kinda style anyway and she loves it.

They can wear whatever footwear and jewellery they want to make it more them. Although, my mother seemed a little 'meh' about them, but she just said she was tired. Maybe it is because they are black and she cannot picture the scene!!

Pfffff glad that is all over, just hope the one unsure maiden says yes!!

Last week we set our date which is the 16/7/16. Booked our church and venue. Did a trial run on the favours, which are diy cardboard Lego brick box's with 2 chocolates inside, just wanted to make sure they would work.

Have decided on food. We're having a picnic/summer fete theme. So having a picnic buffet in the day which we'll be doing our self's so will be buying everything closer to the date and hog roast for the evening which we will be booking soon.

We also chose our colour theme which is blue and purple in different shades. Lots left to do but jusy happy things are getting sorted.

Welcome ?, you've picked a good date, there are a number of us with that now (me included) think you'll be the fifth, possibly sixth.

Love the idea of a picnic type food for the day. Happy planning with the rest of it, it'll be here before you know it ?
