July 2016 Brides (and Grooms)

Hi All!

I'm on July 30th (changed my name from Specialee85).

So far we have sorted. Venue, church, caterers, tog and vogs, and colours and save the dates

I've got all my bridesmaids (6 including MOH) and OH has 4 of his grooms men (inc Best man).

My MOH is sorting out my Hen do and I can tell she will make it amazing.

Dress shopping in June and OH is sorting out DJ, car and honey moon.

YAY!

I know I am a lazy bride!! Haha, fancy doing it for me? :-P

Just enquired about a dress appt in june.... Eep i hope they can squeeze me in!! :-)

Just dreamt that my wonderful TOG didnt turn up at my wedding and she thought it was the day after, so we had a wedding of no photos :-( and i had 15 mins to do my make up :-( hate wedding nightmares!!

I'm officially bored of wedding planning.
I can't think of anything else that we actually have to book or look in to....which is where the issue lies i think

@HMM I know! I hate them too. Not had one for a while though. The last one I had the shop told me that they didnt place the order for my dress even though I'd paid for it. Can't remember what happened in the rest of the dream, but I remember not having a dress. (part of my thinks this is just me worrying as I ordered my dress January 2014 and it is not due until the end of the year early next year, I have checked that the order will be expected as the dress is being discontinued, and they have assured me it is. BUT if for some reason it is not in, or doesn't turn up I will be making one hell of a scene!)

Anyway, how are the rest of the plans coming on?

@Hellandglory Yeah, it's like you just hit a wall with all the planning. Give it a break for a little while and come back to it. That's what I keep doing. I'm only coming back to it when I get moments of panic! ha.

Hi ladies! I'm getting married on 2nd July 2016 in Scotland. I live in Dubai so planning from afar is beginning to get stressful - everything I want is booked! So far I have my dress, venue, band, afternoon entertainment and celebrant. I'm avoiding things like flowers and decorations because I don't know where to start!!

...16th July gang, can you believe in 5 weeks we will be at the year mark!? Where the effing hell has the time gone?

I am hoping to receive sample menues from our caterers on Monday. I know they are in budget, because we agreed a price per head beforehand, so i jusf cannot wait to tick that one off of the list! Our to do list is mahoosive still!! :-)

Sorry Bubblerawk - I've just seen this! I can't believe its nearly a year either. I have had a burst of inspiration and I'm trying to sort my flowers at the moment. I had a Skype call with the wedding planner I'm using and she reassures me I'm more organised than I thought I was!!

Hi Ladies!

I am getting married on 7th July 2016!

We booked our venue 2 weeks ago now and I am so excited!!!

We have paid our deposit for the registrar, i am so relieved we got that booked as I was driving my OH mad worrying that they would be fully booked but its ok we got the time we wanted! (Starting to worry a little now though that I haven't left enough time to get my hair and makeup done in the morning, plus MOB and Sister getting their hair and make up done, PLUS I am making my own Wedding Cake and will have to put it all together on the morning of our Wedding at the venue!)

I already have my Wedding Dress, Shoes, Tiara, Garter. I have the bridesmaid dress and shoes too and we have booked the DJ and Sweet Cart! Phew!

We have been invited to our wedding venue to discuss plans next week and I ordered the save the date cards last night so really looking forward to sending those out too!

I know me and the OH have so much more to book but I think we are doing well!

Congratulations to everyone else getting married in July 2016 too! It is going to be an exciting year!!!

Its been a while since ive posted on this page, sorry guys. I cant believe this month next year we will be getting married!

Its getting so close now!

Tell me about it! this time next week i will at the year mark ? Cant believe how quick it was gone. I remember thinking starting the whole planning that over 2 years seems ages away, it really isnt. Im waiting for my proper freak out moment now!

Seems like we're all really organised in here!

I keep looking for extra things to plan now, which means extra costs haha.

I still need to sort my guestbook, but cant find the right frame :/

We want a heart drop one, but I don't want to pay the prices I have seen for them so was going to make it myself, however finding the right frame is proving harder then expected.

1 year, 2 weeks and 6 days!! whoop.

Just booked the Deejay today and have seen that Mr has been looking at transport for me to the church. Rolls Royce Phantoms!

I've paid the deposit for my dress, but before they order it they are getting me to try on one in a similar style but in the size they want to order because my hips came up larger than the size we want. To save me having to pay the plus size surcharge (fat tax) we are going to see if the underlining fits me as it is. the dress maker is sending it to the shop for me to try on on the 25th July so i'll update you all then! wooohooo!

We just reached the year mark! It is crazy to think that today in one year we will be getting married, and exciting!!! So far have booked venue and church, made all paper items like save the dates and invitations, I have my dress but that is about it!

11 days until i can say 1 year, eee!

I've booked the TOG, and will be looking at wedding dresses next month ? When would people advise I start looking for bridesmaid dresses? I'm still trying to decide on a colour theme too...

Oh my goodness! I can't believe this.

Ours is the 30th so still got a couple of weeks but it has come around so fast since we booked it in December. EEEEEK!

So excited ... in just under 5 hours I can say only 12 months to go. Can't believe that i started off with 2 years and 7 months to go. The time has flown by. Just another 12 little months left ... Wahoo ?

EEEEPPPP! I KNOW. When we started it was 2 years 9 months doesn't seem that long ago. Plus the ticker will start finally moving ?

One year to go!!! ? ? ? Also today we've been together 5 and a half years Feeling very happy today, the weather is lovely too which I'm glad about. Think I will start panicking soon that I have no time left!

I'm so happy for all you July 16th brides! Let's get those tickers moving!
