I know soooo excited today. I'm walking round with a daft grin on my face! Ha. It does feel like we've not got enough time, but we've been a super organised bunch so well be fine.

Ha ha, I know Karen, can't wait for that ticker to finally move

Hi to my fellow 16th July gang

Well we made it to the one year mark. To say I'm super excited is a bit of an understatement!!!

I'm guessing you're all equally as excited and I reckon this final 12 months (or 365 days) will fly by.

I've managed to re-book my wedding ceremony this morning at our new venue, which meant I was able to book my big stretched 4x4 hummer limo and order my invites (not letting the grass grow under my feet).

Congratulations all on reaching the 12 month mark.

    I'm so happy right now x ?

I think I'm going to do a massive flash on my year to go date!

I've just written the wording for our invites today and sent to to H2B for approval.

I'm going mad trying to find the cylinder vases I want for our centrepieces for a good price. The budget is so teeny.

    Any ideas?

Haha i havent done a full flash yet so why not aye!

I'm looking for vases like this: http://wedwebtalks.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/10/spring-wedding-centerpieces-with-cylinder-vases.jpg

Half the tables with have these and half will have fish bowls

looking for about 20. But to be honest my budget is only £250 for centrepieces so ill probably have to think of something else.

Maybe just the fishbowls. So haRd.

I also can't believe next year is a leap year :-(

Hello everyone Smiley smile Nice to meet you all!

I am due to get married on 7th July 2016.

So far we have booked venue for ceremony/reception and paid the deposit for registrar. Bridesmaid dresses have been picked and we are organising photographer and DJ currently.

Looking at DIY'ing a lot of the decor but pinterest so many ideas I am struggling to choose, so many beautiful options!

    Hi Jen-Lou

Next on my list is posting save the dates today, we are giving notice on 7th August and ordering BM dresses in September. I feel like this wedding is actually going to happen ( rather than a distant dream) lol.

How about you, what's next for you x

Ohhh..not long to wait now for giving notice. I think it'll feel more real then too. We give notice on the 28th August, then we are off for a week so will no doubt sort wedding stuff (and by that I mean the guest lists ?).

But next, well, i've just done our guest book, none of the pre-made ones were suitable so got a blank scrap book from hobby craft (for £5! bargain!) and done it myself.

I'm also having a bit of "argument" with the bridal shop over my dress, but hopefully I will get that sorted this week.

Im trying to figure out what to put in little gift boxes for my niece, my friends daughter and my friend for them staying over with me the night before the wedding. I'm trying to pick up bits now they are starting to sell wedding things off a little cheaper, as next years sales will be too late! ha ?

So nothing major to do next really at the minute, but thing the big thing is giving notice.

My wedding is 02 July 2016. My fiancé is going away in September until June next year with work so we are trying to get as much organised as possible! Here goes with what's done so far: -

Venue booked (having ceremony and reception at the same place) , save the dates sent, menu decided on for breakfast and evening, florist booked, registrar booked, photographer booked, hair and make up for me 3 bridesmaids and both mothers, band booked (6 piece swing band), traditional ice cream tricycle booked for reception, got my dress shoes and hair piece, grooms party outfits decided on, favours ordered and I have ordered the card to make my own invitations just sorting out the design now. Bridesmaids dresses also decided on but they want to lose weight (I have by no way told them they have to and we have found a lovely dress that compliments them) so not ordering until beginning of next year. Table centre pieces decided on (been getting vases off the car boot to put a few flowers in along with picture frames that I will paint our colours and have pics of us both in on holiday as the tables are named after places we have visited) and making my own table plan off a giant picture frame (goes with the table decs then). Think that's is just need to do the seating plan next year once we have numbers. Oh and we have picked out our rings.....just need to order them.

@ExpensiveBrownCars352 you are very organised! But I can see why, if your OH is going to be away for such a long time.

@jen-lou Any update on your dress this week?

My aunt is a florist (based in Ireland) and this weekend she will be flying over and we are getting up very early doors Saturday to go and check out New Covent Garden flower market with my mum too. Seeing as it will be pretty much this weekend next year we get married, we will be able to get a good idea of what flowers will be in season (I'm hoping it won't be too late for peonies) and also the cost. Then we are going from there to the venue (picking up OH enroute) so that my aunt can see the venue and get an idea for where we will need flowers. So excited to do some wedding stuff again - and for my aunt to see the venue. My OH, unsurprisingly, wasn't too interested in getting up at 5am to go and look at flowers!!

@Karen I will hear something today, the designer is speaking to the shops manager today so hopefully will know more. It's being kept in the dark on what's going on that's the problem (not too sure if I've mentioned what's gone on or not)

Your plans sound good, not the 5am start though, ha. What flowers you going for ?

Weird situation. Fingers crossed that you will get some good news today about it.

I know! But the market's only open from 4-10am and we have to be back at the venue for 9am which is about an hour and a half away from the market. The market is 45 mins in one direction from my house, and my venue is in 45 mins the other direction! I'm gonna need my coffee before doing all that driving! I am hoping for pink and white peonies for the bouquets and buttonholes and then peonies mixed with blue/pink/white hydrangeas for the centrepieces.

Thanks, the shop are ignoring me but they can't ignore the designer ☺ still no news but is only early in the day.

You're flowers sound lovely. If we had flowers I would have gone for hydrangeas. I think they are a very under rated flower. Yes extra string coffee will be needed for that drive. Are you getting them the morning of your wedding or the day before?

Good day today! H2B designed the invites, info and reply card. Just ordered some sample envelopes to see if they will fit. Mock up will be done in the next day or so.

Went yesterday to had another fitting for my dress before they order to make sure its the right size. To recap, because my hips are very hippy and came up much bigger than my top, we had to make sure that ordering in the size we wanted would work. The dressmaker sent a very similar dress to mine in the size for me to try.

The shop lady commented how I had already lost weight up top because the dress should have fitted perfectly but already needed clipping at the back. Not a problem though at least we know what size to order. Will be here by xmas.

Met with the bridesmaid dress lady and she gave a great quote for my dresses. So will likely be using her.

Think I have changed my mind on the centrepieces for cost reasons. I think fish bowls are the way to go. easier to get hold of and cheaper.

Mid week and the 1 year mark will be a full flash of what we have so far!! Can't wait.
