July wedding inspiration flash!

Unlikley Bride, 8 January, 2013 at 16:14 Posted on Planning 0 16

Hello all - apologies I've never introduced myself. I'm posting some parts of my wedding and some inspirations for things yet to be decided on. I hope this helps anyone planning a similar style wedding and that it keeps me inspired! I had a bit of a blubber over Xmas because nothing was yet sorted (or at least I felt this was the case) and so we've been in a bit of a planning whiz the past week. So here goes..

The church a short walk from the reception venue

The back garden of the pub where arrival drinks will be served whilst we have photos - guests will see this walking from the church so I'll try make it look pretty!

The reception will be held in the village hall (directly over the road)

(the hall will hopefully be set out similar to this)

Ploughman's

Hog roast on request of the groom!

- desert will be famous local ice cream served by us both :o)

Evening guests will be greeted in the front garden of the pub before the evening reception in the village hall. Again I will make the area look pretty!

The dress.

Necklace inspiration

Bouquet inspiration (not pink - probably neutrals)

Cake inspiration (not pink - possibly on the yellow scale)

Favours - Fudge Fancies.

A few more pics of inspiration:

Spending the night of the wedding

Honeymoon in Tuscany.

Woah, FAB looking wedding, wish I was going. ?

You seam to know what you want.

It all seams nice local/close knit.

My wedding reception was in our back garden as we didn't have a bean ☹️ but it was a good laugh though!

If we had a garden big enough for the people we want there I would have loved this! I hope that lots of laughs will be had by all on our day too - that's what's important after all :o)

Out of interest, how many guests are you having?

    Church holds 80

    Hall holds 120

We haven't done the guest list yet but we estimate 60 day & 40 evening guests.

All looks fab! I dressed a wedding a few years ago which was very similar with it being in the Village church and then across to the village hall. it was one of the loveliest, laid back weddings I have been to.

It's by a French jewellery designer called Lorina Balteanu - you can view it on her site (which I think has been hacked so I wouldn't recommend visiting it) but there's no option to buy.

I've been searching etsy for something similar and so far had no luck apart from this which is not as nice:

I know we've got quite a bit sorted but still feel panicky that we still have so much to do.

Oh yes, getting the honeymoon booked was a priority for me! - after all that's the reward for all the stress Smiley winking
